Is Norwex a Scam?
It is funny how often I get asked the question, “Is Norwex a scam?” While it’s true that Norwex shares many similarities to any run-of-the-mill multi-level marketing (MLM) company, it does offer cleaning products that are effective and safe for home use. Norwex is a direct sales company like Avon or Tupperware, which also sell high-quality products at retail prices. It is a popular home-based business allowing people, mostly women, to supplement their income through selling Norwex products at in-home parties.
Aren’t ALL Multi-Level Marketing Companies, Like Norwex, a Scam?
Unfortunately, multi-level marketing (MLM) companies have received a bad rap as a business model. There are many businesses that don’t offer the type of high-quality products that Norwex does, or in some cases, they don’t offer any products at all. With Norwex, you definitely won’t walk away empty handed; you will get high-quality cleaning products in the form of microfiber cloths, mops, beauty products, and more. But how much do these items cost?
Are Norwex Products a Ripoff?
Many people do think that Norwex products are little bit overpriced for the average customer. A customer could spend much less on some cleaning at your local supermarket, but Norwex claims that they are “Improving the quality of life by radically reducing the use of chemicals in personal care and cleaning.” Sounds like a a pretty good deal, right?
Are Norwex Products Right for Me?
Probably the best way to answer this question would be to host a Norwex party and receive an in-home demonstration. Many Norwex consultants don’t seem to be the “high-pressure” sales types, they are often just people who love the product and want to share it with others. In fact, most Norwex consultants start out as customers who fell in love with the product. They can feed their “Norwex addiction” by selling the products in order to replenish their own stash, so to speak. Ha Ha.
If you don’t want to host a Norwex party, you can buy their products directly through their website or through one of their consultant’s sites. Plus, there is plenty of information out there on the web discussing the pros and cons of the Norwex cleaning line. If you have had any experience with Norwex, good or bad, please leave a comment and help others to know whether you think Norwex is a scam or not.
